At our Työturvakortit.fi service, you can complete an affordable occupational safety card course officially approved by The Centre for Occupational Safety (TTK) in a multi-modal format. The total duration of the training is 7 hours, which are divided into two parts. We regularly organize training courses open to everyone in Finnish and English. The materials in the mobile application are also available in these languages. We also offer tailored private training for companies.

You will participate in online training led by an instructor.
At the end of the training, you will take a test. After passing the test, your occupational safety card will be activated and you will be able to use it on your mobile device.
If you already have a valid occupational safety card, you can participate in a shorter refresher training. The refresher training lasts a total of 4 hourts and is implemented using the same multi-faceted model:

In 2024, there were 115,000 occupational accidents in Finland, of which 91 000 were workplace accidents. The occupational safety card has been developed to improve the safety of shared workplaces. Its aim is to support orientation, increase occupational safety awareness and reduce occupational accidents and dangerous situations.
The Centre for Occupational Safety (TTK) is responsible for developing and administering the occupational safety card training, and it also maintains a register of those who have completed the card. The card is obtained by successfully completing official occupational safety training, and it is valid for five years.
Although training is voluntary, many contracting companies require it from their subcontractors and several employers require it as a supplementary part of the skills of a job applicant or current employee.
